TFT Thought Field therapy as a stand alone treatment

TFT is a safe, effective stand-alone treatment, and does not require a long term commitment.

Negative emotions and traumatic memories can be a constant drain on your energy, and prevent you from enjoying and living your life to the full.

You can reach a point where “stuff” (feelings, memories, etc.) that has built up over the years starts to “leak”. You might be getting on with your life fine, and then something pops up and bothers you more than it should.

You push it down and ignore it. But it pops up somewhere else.

Other signs are anxiety, depression, getting angry, upset, drinking too much, eating too much/too little, smoking and overspending. These eventually prove costly to your physical health and well-being.

Thought Field Therapy deals with those painful emotions and memories quickly and effectively. There is no need to spend hours, weeks or months re-living that distress, or talking it through. That emotional “live wire” is neutralised so that you can think, understand, make changes, or let it all go; you can decide clearly and calmly.

What does TFT involve?

We will arrange an informal discussion on the phone, no obligation. This gives me an idea of what you want help with, and ensures that you feel comfortable working with me.

Sessions are arranged face to face, or Skype can be used.

TFT is not counselling or therapy, you just need to let me know something about the problem in order to treat the root cause effectively.

When that is clear, you will be guided through the relevant tapping sequences whilst you think about your problem.

There is more to it than this, and a practitioner can enable you to achieve the best outcome.

In complex situations, there are often layers of thoughts and feelings that are treated one at a time.

You will take away a personal sequence to continue using for yourself.

How many treatments will you need? 

TFT normally offers effective relief in a couple of sessions, with long lasting results.

First session may be 60 – 90 minutes, thereafter sessions are one hour.
